A gaming browser? Really? But what for?

Ever heard of Opera GX? World’s first gaming browser ever by Opera? Why would anyone want a browser made for gaming? 

Opera believes that more than a billion PC gamers around the world deserve a browser with an overhauled experience to their needs. But why? What exactly is Opera GX? 

What is Opera GX?

According to its official website, “Opera GX is a special version of the Opera browser built specifically to complement gaming. The browser includes unique features to help you get the most out of both gaming and browsing.” It says that Opera GX is an extraordinary version of the standard Opera browser. It includes unique features but what for? Maybe it’s for browser games but is browser games still relevant these days?

What unique features are you talking about? Opera GX has a GX Control that gives you the capabilities to manage and organize how much the RAM, CPU, and network usage your browser takes up that features Hot Tabs Killer, a feature that lets you see how much RAM is being consumed on every tab and it lets you free up resources.

Opera GX was announced a year ago and is now available in Early Access. 

Only available on PC though.
