YOUTUBE REWIND 2020 GOT CANCELED, AND YOU ALREADY KNOW WHY

2020 has been a rough year, do you think there’s something to look back, this 2020?

For the first time in years, YouTube has made an announcement that they will not be doing their Rewind series at the end of the year, this year 2020. It is because 2020 isn’t the right year to look back on something.

What do you think?

If you are lazy enough to check their official statement regarding the cancellation of YouTube Rewind 2020, here’s the statement.

“Since 2010, we’ve ended the year with Rewind: a look back at the year’s most impactful creators, videos, and trends. Whether you love it-or only remember 2018- Rewind was always meant to be a celebration of you. But 2020 has been different. And it doesn’t feel right to carry on as if it weren’t. So, we’re taking a break from Rewind this year. We know that so much of the good that did happen in 2020 was created by all of you. You’ve found ways to lift people up, help them cope, and make them laugh. You made a hard year genuinely better. Thank you for making a difference.”

YouTube on Twitter

One of the main reasons why YouTube stopped Rewind 2020 is that because of the coronavirus outbreak. 2020 has been a different year, compared to the previous ones. It’s not that bad to see YouTube taking a break from its Rewind series, maybe we’ll get a masterpiece once we get through this year.
