LOOK: Xiaomi CEO Confirms The Upcoming Mi 11’s Box Won’t Come With A Charger
After making fun of Apple for removing chargers, Xiaomi is also ditching Mi 11’s charger.
A couple of hours ago, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced a “major decision” on Weibo; the announcement is a video giving us the new look of its retail box, which is slimmer than the previous boxes. Additionally, Lei Jun also unveiled the design of the box. The translation implies that Xiaomi has to ditch the charger from the box in response to environmental protection.
The video shows us how slim the box is, it came in a light and thin box, The box is somehow similar to the iPhone 12 and other future Apple devices. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun also stated that almost everyone has a lot of unused chargers and this is Xiaomi’s response to the issue.
