Earlier this week, Activision Blizzard has confirmed in their financial earnings report that a mobile version of Warcraft is currently in the works, the said mobile game will also come out later this year.
In a lengthy press report, Activision Blizzard revealed the statistics of their quarterly earnings in Q4 and 2021. The statement included their future projects, as well as plans for future releases.
“Blizzard is planning substantial new content for the Warcraft franchise in 2022, including new experiences in World of Warcraft and Hearthstone, and getting all-new mobile Warcraft content into players’ hands for the first time,” the press release says.
While the mobile port of the game has been confirmed, there is no mention of when the game releases. It has been confirmed that the game will come out this year although there’s no specific release date yet.
For those unaware, there’s also another mobile game from Blizzard Entertainment that has been in development since it was announced, which is known as the Diablo Immortal. It was announced back then in 2018 and is now ready to be released in 2022.
