Previously, we published our curation of phone releases in January 2023 in which we introduced Unleashed, with the motive to provide a list of ranked smartphones per category. Though we’re going to add a little few additions to our criteria as a vast majority of smartphones differ in several factors despite being in the same category.
With that in mind, this month’s top 10 enlists powerhouse smartphones ranked by their key specifications, designs, and the use of their innovative technologies, including their conceptual counterparts.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip takes the spotlight as the company’s first flip phone comes with a near-to-invisible crease with a bigger cover screen for your daily lock screen essentials, followed by the top-performing Xiaomi 13 Pro and the camera frontrunner Galaxy S23 Ultra which came in second and third.
OnePlus 11‘s conceptual counterpart, the OnePlus 11 Concept (4), takes the number four spot for its innovative use of its water-cooling technology while still maintaining the overall appearance of the handset. Next is the 240W variant of realme GT3 (5) with a never-before-seen RGB lighting ring from the brand.
Ending with the last five include HONOR’s flagship handset, the Magic5 Pro (6), joined by the OnePlus Pad (7) the first tablet from the brand, the gaming-centric iQOO Neo7 (8) with a simple-yet-sophisticated design, and the last two aggressively-priced mid-range phones from Xiaomi sub-brand POCO and realme, namely the POCO X5 Pro (9) and the realme 10 Pro+ 5G (10).
