Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Go arrives with Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 chipset

Following the release of the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 a week ago, Samsung announces another sibling of the laptop and it’s the Galaxy Book 2 Go.

A new notebook from the South Korean giant.

The new notebook mainly highlights the Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 chipset. It’s a 6nm chip and is based on TSMC’s fabrication, which offers a 40-percent faster processor and a 35-percent boost in GPU performance over the last year’s Galaxy Book Go, with support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. In addition, the chipset uses an LPDDR4X RAM clocked at 3,200MHz and an NVMe SSD storage-type, and is claimed to bring improvement to its AI processing.

While the chip is 5G-enabled, a report from SamMobile suggests that Samsung might have it disabled on the Wi-Fi-only version of the Galaxy Book 2 Go and adds that the 5G variant might arrive later this year. The rest of the specs include: a 14-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a 180-degree hinge, a tenkeyless keyboard layout, a large trackpad, and a webcam.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Go will be open for sale exclusively in France via the Samsung website on January 20.
