HONOR X8c debuts on global website

The Chinese smartphone maker sneaks in a new device on its global website.

MANILA, Philippines — Chinese smartphone brand HONOR has recently announced the HONOR X8c through the brand's global website on Sunday, January 19, 2025. The new smartphone from the HONOR highlights the durability-focused specifications, and the 'elegant' appearance, as well as the 108MP main camera.

Positioning itself with the 'eXtra Elegance, eXtra Experience' tagline, the HONOR X8c features a 6.7-inch display in 2412 x 1080 resolution. It has a bespoke design with four colors showing off different patterns and a strong material resistant to drops and crushes. For cameras, it uses a dual-camera setup comprised of the aforementioned 108MP main (with OIS) and 5MP wide sensors. On the front is a 50MP camera with f/2.1 aperture.

The HONOR X8c uses the 6nm Snapdragon 685 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery and runs on the Android 15-based MagicOS 19.0.
