MANILA, Philippines — Chinese consumer tech brand OnePlus has launched two of its latest products: OnePlus 13 and 13R globally in an online event on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. The two phones share the similar camera design with top-of-the-line specifications underneath and a 12GB RAM and 256GB memory configuration available for both models. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 13 exceeds at up to a 16GB RAM and 512GB configuration and is priced at US $899 for both variants as of this writing.

OnePlus 13

The OnePlus 13 features a 6.82-inch Quad HD display with 120Hz refresh rate and a Ceramic Guard material for the cover glass. It has a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor on the front and has a set of three cameras on the back, consisting of 50MP main (Sony LYT-808), 50MP telephoto (Sony LYT-600), and 50MP ultra-wide lenses housed in a circular camera bump alongside an "H" imprint for Hasselblad.

Underneath the 13 is the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, coupled with up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It has a 6,000mAh battery with 80W charging and runs on Android 15-based OxygenOS 15.0.

OnePlus 13R

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 13R features a 6.78-inch display with a 2780 x 1264 resolution. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and uses the Corning Gorilla Glass GG7i for the cover glass material. It has a 16MP camera for selfies and also has a triple-camera setup on the back: 50MP main (Sony LYT-700), 50MP telephoto, and 8MP ultra-wide sensors.

Inside the 13R is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a 6,000mAh battery with 55W charging. The OnePlus 13R only comes in one 12GB + 256GB variant but uses the LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 technology for both the RAM and the ROM.
