You can now send disappearing messages on Messenger! (and Instagram, soon)
Just a few days ago, Facebook introduced a new feature coming to Messenger (now out) and Instagram called “Vanish Mode.” But is it really that beneficial?
If you cannot stand your friend to send something embarrassing, then this is the right feature for you. It looks pretty identical to a secret conversation, however, this one is more secure. Your messages will disappear immediately once the chat box is closed.
But what exactly is Vanish Mode?
Vanish Mode is a feature where users can send “disturbing” photos, videos, messages, voice messages, emojis, and stickers to their friends that immediately disappear when you leave the conversation. It was designed to delete anything sent forever once the message has been viewed.
