Google Photos ends its free unlimited uploads in mid-2021
GOOGLE PHOTOS ENDS IT FREE UNLIMITED UPLOADS IN MID-2021
Future Pixel devices are affected, and we don’t like it.
Google Photos was launched in 2015, promising unlimited uploads. But now, Google says that it will limit to the same 15GB shared by its popular services like Google Drive by June 1, 2021. After you consume the free 15GB cloud storage, you will be required to make a switch to Google One. However,
there is an exemption for Pixel devices as a bonus for those who are a fan of Google devices, but photos uploaded after June will be reverted to Normal Quality.
Once you finally reach the cap, Google Photos will notify you of alerts and warnings. Google is also implementing new features such as new storage management tools into Google Photos, and also a tool that gives you an easy way to find and delete the photos that you don’t want like blurry photos, embarrassing shots, and stuffs like that.
