Honor V40 5G with Dimensity 1000+, Now Official in China

Honor has officially announced the Honor V40 5G in China as the company’s first smartphone release after the split between them and Huawei.

The Honor V40 5G boasts a 6.72-inch Curved OLED display with a pill-like punch-hole on the top to feature its 16MP dual-cam front-facing camera setup for selfies. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and up to 300Hz touch sampling rate for a buttery-smooth gameplay experience, accompanied by GPU Turbo X and a Hunter Boost Gaming Optimization for seamless gaming.

Under the hood, the 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ highlights the device as its powerful octa-core processor, paired with an 8GB RAM for multitasking and 256GB ROM for internal storage. Its 5G connectivity gives you the ability to download large files in a flash, up to 4000mbps, download speed varies on location. 
It runs on Magic UI 4.0 with Android 10 on top.
It sports a 4,000mAh battery that can be charged for up to 66W, thanks to Honor SuperCharge and 50W for wireless charging. 
At the back, we get to look at its 50MP f/1.9 main triple camera setup, 8MP f/2.4 for the ultra-wide lens, and 2MP f/2.4 for the macro lens. 
The Honor V40 5G is now available in China and comes in three colours: Titanium Silver, Night Black, and Rose Gold. 
It costs CNY 3,599 for the 8GB+128GB variant and CNY 3,999 for the 8GB+256GB one. 
There’s no word yet on when it’s gonna be sold outside China, stay tuned for more updates!
