The Xiaomi Redmi 9T boasts a 6.53-inch IPS LTPS capacitive panel in Full HD resolution and 19.5:9+ Aspect Ratio with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a dot drop notch on top to support its 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.05 aperture for selfies.
The 11nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC clocked at 2.0Ghz powers the device with Adreno 610 GPU, paired with either 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM for gaming, and 64GB of UFS 2.1 or 128GB of UFS 2.2 for storage, with a dedicated MicroSD slot for further expansion for up to 512GB.
At the back, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a 48MP main AI quad-camera setup with f/1.79 aperture, alongside an 8MP f/2.2 for 120-degree ultra-wide-angle, 2MP f/2.4 for macro, and 2MP f/2.4 for its depth sensor.
This handset carries a massive 6,000mAh battery for uninterrupted entertainment that can be charged for up to 18W for wired-charging, and 2.5W for reverse charging, accompanied by a USB Type-C port for charging efficiency close to its stereo speakers in Hi-Res audio. The device comes with a 22.5W fast charger in-box.
It runs on MIUI 12.0.4 based on Android 10 out-of-the-box.
Other highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IR Blaster, splash-proof anti-fingerprint texture, etc.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T will be available on January 29th, 2021 at Authorized Mi Stores and resellers through Lazada and Shopee.
