Several reports coming from Chinese users shared that they are unable to install Google Mobile Services or GMS on their Xiaomi smartphones after the MIUI 12.5 update.
The company responded that they no longer allow users to install or sideload Google Mobile Services manually due to compliance reasons, the company also stated that you won’t be able to install Google Services on devices that don’t ship with Google Services Framework.
Additionally, reports confirm that the Redmi K30 Ultra and Redmi 10X 5G are those affected models in China in which don’t support installing Google Mobile Services.
