Motorola unveils the Moto G10 Power and G30 in India

Two new budget phones by Motorola just launched in India this week — the Moto G10 Power, along with Moto G30.

THE POWERFUL ALL ROUNDER

If you don’t know, the company unveiled the Moto G10 and G30 a month ago in China, and now, Moto G10 makes its way to India with an extended battery capacity, 6,000mAh that can be fully juiced up to 20W. It’s more likely a rebranded variant of the original Moto G10 launched in China.

However, the Moto G10 Power still features the same specifications as the original Moto G10. The Moto G10 Power boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ Max Vision display with a waterdrop notch on top. The same Snapdragon 460 processor powers the device, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It runs on the latest version of Android which is Android 11 and it has an IP52 rating for water resistance, as well as a fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear.

And as for the cameras, the Moto G10 Power is equipped with a 48MP quad-camera setup, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide shooter, 2MP for the macro, and 2MP for depth, plus an 8MP front-facing shooter on the front.

The Moto G10 Power in India has a dedicated MicroSD slot for further expansion, which is up to 1TB. It comes only in one variant, priced at INR9,999 (roughly $135) and it sports two colors: Aurora Grey and Breeze Blue.

THE SOLID ALL ROUNDER

Here comes the Moto G30, an even more upgraded version of the Moto G10. Why? The Moto G30 features the same 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ display but this time, it has a refresh rate that supports up to 90Hz. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 662 processor with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM, still, a single variant, which is priced at INR10,999 (roughly $150).

It has a 5,000mAh battery with TurboPower™ 20W on top, partnered with a USB Type-C port, and runs the latest stock Android 11. Other highlights include a 64MP quad-camera setup, with an ultrawide 8MP shooter, 2MP for the macro, and 2MP for the depth module, alongside IP52 rating, 13MP front-facing camera, Google Assistant key, NFC, and many more.

The Moto G30 sports two colors: Dark Pearl and Pastel Sky. Both devices can be purchased from Flipkart and Indian markets starting March 17.
