Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G processor on the Honor 50 Pro and the non-Pro option, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage, whereas the Honor 50 SE is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 5G SoC which has only one 8GB RAM variant but also up to 256GB of ROM. The vanilla Honor 50 features a smaller 6.57-inch FHD display in an OLED panel. Everything else is pretty much the same as the Pro version but with exceptions for the bigger 4,300mAh battery with 66W charging, and the camera setup. The main camera for the Pro and the non-Pro version is equipped with a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP camera for depth. For biometrics, the Honor 50 and the 50 Pro feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for layered security and they both run on the latest Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11.

The Honor 50 SE boasts a slightly large 6.78-inch IPS LCD display in Full HD resolution but still gets the same 120Hz refresh rate support. The phone has a triple-cam setup attached on the back with the same sensors as the two other phones excluding the depth sensor, and a single 16MP shooter on the front. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and it carries a 4,000mAh battery with 66W fast-charging tech.
