A report from XDA Developers claims the Android 12 Beta 3 for Pixel phones, which comes with an update to add new features, as well as a variety of improvements to the system apps, notably the Wallpaper Picker and the Google Camera.

Digging into the app, XDA Senior Member cstark27 discovered references to the “ultra tele” camera, suggesting that a new 5X zoom option will be shown in the viewfinder.

XDA Developers also indicated that a still image from a video Google shared at I/O 2021 developer conference also pointed toward the app gaining a 5X zoom option, which gives us more evidence for this rumor.

A week ago, leaker, Jon Prosser gave us a peek at the Google Pixel 6 series that it could get 5-year software support, along with the camera details confirming the Pixel 6 is to feature a 50MP main camera and 12MP ultra-wide camera whereas the Pro version is to feature the same main and ultra-wide lenses, but with an additional 48MP camera for the telephoto.

Currently, there are no updates as of the moment but you can stay tuned for more updates by following us on Google News.
