Realme unveils the GT Master Edition series: 120Hz AMOLED, 65W charging

Realme introduces to us another set of smartphones — Meet the GT Master Edition and the GT Master Exploration Edition!

Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa is behind the astonishing looks of the two new phones, both devices come from suitcases with ridged designs in a soft-touch leather finish.

The GT Master Exploration Edition boasts a curved 6.55-inch Full HD resolution while the vanilla Master Edition comes with a flat 6.43-inch display. Both devices come in a Super AMOLED panel and buttery 120Hz refresh rates. They also sport an under-display fingerprint scanner and 32MP selfie shooters.

We have a tri-cam setup on the back that consists of 50MP Sony IMX766 primary, 16MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro lenses for the Exploration Edition whereas the vanilla opts for a 64MP primary shooter alongside an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro cameras.

Under the hood, there’s a Snapdragon 870 and a 4,500mAh cell on the Exploration Edition while on the other hand, the standard variant gets a Snapdragon 778G and 4,300mAh instead. Both batteries can be juiced up to 65W through the provided SuperDart charger.

The Realme GT Master Edition comes in grey, white and gradient colors and is available in two storage configurations: 8/128GB for CNY 2,399 (~roughly PHP 18.5K) while the 8/256GB is priced at CNY 2,599 (~roughly PHP 20.1K).

Finally, the Realme GT Master Exploration Edition sports two colorways: grey and apricot. Pricing starts at CNY 2,799 (~roughly PHP 21.6K) for the 8/128GB variant and CNY 3,099 (~roughly PHP 24K) for the 12/256GB variant.

Pre-orders will be open in China starting on July 30.
