Vivo Y53s 4G launched with Helio G80, 64MP tri-cam setup

Vivo announced earlier the 4G variant of the Y53 in Vietnam. It sports the Helio G80 processor, the 64MP tri-cam setup, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

It’s basically the same Y53s that were introduced back in June but with downgraded features and camera buffs.

To begin with, the Vivo Y53s 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor (compared to the 5G model which uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 480). For cameras, it uses a 64MP triple camera setup on its rear panel alongside 2MP shooters for macro and depth sensors, and the front camera now uses a clearer 16MP instead of 8MP. Virtual memory is also here, it allows you to extend its 8GB of RAM by taking 3GB of space from internal storage.

Other than that, the rest of the features still sport the same 6.58-inch FHD IPS display, the same Android 11 (but this one’s running on Funtouch OS 11.1), the same fingerprint sensor, and the same 5,000mAh battery. Forgot to mention, this one has a nerfed 18W charging compared to the 5G model’s 33W.

The Vivo Y53s 4G is now available in the Vietnam market and comes in two colors: Blue Purple and Black Green. It is priced at VND6,990,000 (~roughly PHP 15.2K) and is only available in one variant: 8GB/128GB.
