A few hours ago, Xiaomi accidentally revealed the full details of their upcoming budget-friendly device, which is the Redmi 10 via an official blog post to their site.
The announcement has been deleted right away the moment they realized they posted it at the wrong time, which was supposed to be released on August 18th although XDA Developers has managed to write an article regarding the handset, and now, here we are.
Redmi 10 Specifications
The Redmi 10 is Xiaomi’s latest installment on the budget lineup. It is the successor of the last year’s Redmi 9 and it’s the first Redmi in the series to sport a 50MP quad-camera setup, as well as a 90Hz 6.5-inch Full HD AdaptiveSync display and the powerful MediaTek Helio G88.
The handset is equipped with a quad-camera setup that consists of a primary 50MP shooter, 8MP ultra-wide lenses, 2MP for the macro and depth sensors. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie shooter housed in a punch-hole cut-out.
Under the hood, there is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging tech, 9W reverse charging tech and it runs on MIUI 12.5 with Android 11 on top. There’s also a 22.5W charger out-of-the-box. Other highlights include: dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, AI Face Unlock, Reading Mode 3.0, Sunlight display, and lastly, the aforementioned AdaptiveSync that adjusts the display depending on the content (30Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz).
The Redmi 10 comes in three storage options: 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB. All variants will be available for purchase through Xiaomi’s official stores however Xiaomi has not yet revealed the availability and the price of the Redmi 10.
