Lenovo Tab P11 and P12 Pro 5G tablets announced

Lenovo has announced the launch of its first 5G-enabled tablets — the Tab P11 and P12 Pro.

Lenovo Tab P12 Pro 5G

The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro 5G packs an enormous 12.6-inch FHD+ display, it comes with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ support, and 107% NTSC Plus coverage. There’s also a peak brightness of 600 nits.

The tablet is built around an all-metal body as it weighs 565g and is 5.64mm thick. It comes with a kickstand and an attachable full-size keyboard out-of-the-box that brings a laptop-like experience. It’s also compatible with Lenovo’s Precision Pen 3. The P12 Pro 5G is also equipped with four JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos support and Lenovo Premium Audio tuning.

Powering the huge device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It is equipped with a large 10,200mAh with 45W fast charging tech and runs on Android 11 OS. (Chargers are sold separately.) It’s also the first tablet to feature Project Unity — a mode that allows users to use it as an external monitor, compatible with Windows 10/11 Lenovo machine.

The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is available in two flavors: the 5G model retails for EUR 899 (~PHP 53.1K) while the Wi-Fi-only model sells out for EUR 609 (~PHP 36K). The 5G model will be available in select markets.

Lenovo Tab P11 5G

On the other hand, here comes the Lenovo Tab P11 5G. To keep the price down, the tablet features a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, it comes with a standard 60Hz 11-inch FHD+ display. Dolby Vision is still supported though HDR10+ is not. There’s also a peak brightness of 400 nits.

JBL speakers and Dolby Atmos are still present in any case. However, as expected, it equips a smaller 7,700mAh battery with 20W charging. Again, to keep the price low. The Snapdragon 720G SoC is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Productivity-wise, the tablet supports the keyboard add-on and a stylus (the 2nd Gen Precision Pen), there’s also a USB-C port with a DisplayPort functionality that brings a wired external monitor experience.

The Lenovo Tab P11 5G is priced at EUR 499 (~PHP 29.5K). Availability outside the European market is yet to be known.
