Nokia silently announced the launch of its affordable 5G phone — the Nokia G50 5G. It comes with a Snapdragon 480 chip, a 48MP triple-camera setup, and a wide 6.81-inch HD+ display.
First off, the Nokia G50 5G sports a wide 6.82-inch HD+ display, it comes with 70% NTSC coverage, a V-shaped notch that houses the 8MP front camera, as well as 450 nits of brightness. For cameras, it comes with a 48MP triple-camera setup housed in a circular camera layout alongside 5MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensors.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 480 processor, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. There’s also a microSD slot for further expansion and it runs on stock Android 11. Furthermore, you also get 2 years of major OS upgrades and a 3-year monthly security patch.
The Nokia G50 5G carries a large 5,000mAh non-removable battery with 18W quick-charging tech and a USB Type-C port. Other features include: a headphone jack, NFC support, FM Radio, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, Google Assistant button, and more.
The Nokia G50 5G will be available next month starting at €270 (~roughly PHP 15.9K).
