Realme 8s 5G launched with Dimensity 810, 90Hz display, 33W fast charging

Launched alongside the Realme Pad and 8i, the Realme 8s 5G is the first smartphone to sport a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor.

To summarize, the Realme 8s 5G packs a 90Hz smooth 6.5-inch display, a fast Dimensity 810 chip, and a 33W fast charging tech is present for the 5,000mAh battery.

As seen from the Realme 8i, the Realme 8s 5G also offers a Dynamic RAM Expansion, which allows users to extend their RAM up to 5GB by borrowing its components from the internal storage. This is one of the main highlights of the Realme 8s 5G.

For cameras, the Realme 8s 5G is equipped with a tri-cam setup housed in a square camera bump. The camera layout is comprised of a 64MP primary camera along with 2MP sensors. On the front, you get a 16MP selfie shooter. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, Android 11 based on Realme UI 2.0, and more.

The Realme 8s 5G retails for INR 17,999 (~PHP 12.2K) for the 6/128GB variant while INR 19,999 (~PHP 13.5K) for the 8/128GB one. It will start hitting the Indian market starting September 13th, while the global availability of the device remains unknown.
