Redmi 10 Prime goes official with Helio G88 and 6,000mAh battery

Xiaomi has just announced the latest installment of the Redmi lineup — the Redmi 10 Prime. As the name suggests, it is quite similar to the last month’s Redmi 10 with a slight difference being the larger 6,000mAh battery. Other than that, it still opts in for a Helio G88 processor and a 6.5-inch Full HD display.

The Redmi 10 Prime offers the same aforementioned 6.5-inch Full HD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset is equipped with a quad-camera setup that is comprised of a 50MP primary shooter, alongside an 8MP ultrawide sensor and 2MP for macro and depth sensors. On the front, you get an 8MP single selfie shooter.

Under the hood, there’s a MediaTek Helio G88 processor coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. It runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top and it carries a 6,000mAh battery. You also get an 18W USB Type-C charger out-of-the-box.

The Redmi 10 Prime sports three colorways: Phantom Black, Astral White, and Bifrost Blue. It is available in two variants: 4/64GB for INR 12,499 (~PHP8.5K) and 6/128GB for INR 14,499 (~PHP 9.8K). It will open for pre-orders starting September 7 through mi.com, Amazon India, and partner retailers across India.
