Samsung Galaxy Wide5 comes with a Dimensity 700 chip and 64MP main cam

Samsung has just announced the Galaxy Wide5 in South Korea via the carrier SK Telecom — it packs a Dimensity 700 SoC, 64MP primary cam, and a 6.6-inch display.

The Galaxy Wide5 comes with a 6.6-inch FHD display and a V-shaped notch. There’s no mention of the refresh rate, however, the phone is most likely to sport a 90Hz one since the chipset supports it.

Powering the device is the Dimensity 700 chip, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Additionally, the phone also supports a microSD slot up to 1TB for further expansion. As SK Telecom notes, “RAM capacity may vary by country.”

For cameras, the Galaxy Wide5 comes with a triple-camera setup that consists of a 64MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, as well as another 2MP depth sensor. On the front, you get a standard 8MP selfie shooter.

Lastly, the phone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging tech. It comes in three colors: Black, White, and Blue.

The Samsung Galaxy Wide5 (SM-E426S) retails for KRW 450,000 (~PHP 19.2K). It is now available in South Korea and can be sold through the carrier SK Telecom along with an exclusive plan.
