Xiaomi kicks off the year with its latest mid-range installment to the CC family — the Xiaomi Civi. It highlights the Snapdragon 778G chip, 120Hz OLED display, and 55W fast charging tech.
To begin with, the Xiaomi Civi boasts an enormous 6.55-inch FHD+ display in an OLED panel. It has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 and comes with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate as well as a 240Hz touch response rate. It also comes with HDR10+, DCI-P3, DeltaE color accuracy, and a peak brightness of 950-nits.
Under the hood, a Snapdragon 778G chip powers the device, along with an Adreno 642L GPU and up to 256GB of onboard storage. The chip is accompanied by either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and runs on Android 11 based on MIUI 12.5. Albeit, a microSD slot is not present for further expansion.
A reminiscent of Vivo X60 5G, the Xiaomi Civi features a triple-camera setup housed in a triangular camera layout at the back. The triple-camera setup is comprised of a 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro lenses whereas, on the front, you get a standard 32MP selfie shooter.
The Xiaomi Civi carries a 4,500mAh battery with 55W fast charging tech and a USB Type-C port. Other features include an In-Display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, NFC, IR Blaster, Wi-Fi 6, and other crucial features commonly seen on flagship handsets.
The Xiaomi Civi is available in three memory configurations: the 8/128GB option retails for CNY2,599 (~roughly PHP 20.6K), the 8/256GB option for CNY2,899 (~roughly PHP 22.9K), while the 12/256GB option sells out for CNY3,199 (~roughly PHP 25.3K). The handset will start hitting Chinese markets this September 30th.
