POCO C31 announced, a Redmi 9C alternative

POCO India recently announced its newest entry-level smartphone, the POCO C31. It would make a great Redmi 9C alternative if you prefer a different design. It comes with a Helio G35 chip, 13MP triple-camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.

To begin with, the POCO C31 boasts a 6.53-inch HD+ display in IPS panel and comes with a DotDrop notch that houses the 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. Talking about cameras, you also get a triple-camera setup housed in a square bump layout. It consists of a 13MP (f/2.2) primary, 2MP (f/2.4) macro, and 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensors.

Powering the budget handset is a MediaTek Helio G35, coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. In addition, there’s also a dedicated microSD slot that is expandable for up to 512GB. Other features include: Android 10 with MIUI 12, fingerprint sensor, face unlock, FM Radio, USB OTG, Dirac HD Sound, P2i splash resistance, and more.

Furthermore, the POCO C31 packs a large 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging tech. It is available in two options: the 3/32GB model retails for INR 8,499 (~roughly PHP 5.8K) whereas the 4/64GB one sells out for INR 8,999 (~roughly PHP 6.2K). It will start hitting the Indian market starting October 2nd.
