Motorola has silently announced its latest budget phone, the Moto E30 in Slovakia. It has basically the same hardware as the E40 but comes with several limitations and optimizations to save money. For instance, it runs on the power-efficient Android 11 (Go Edition).
The Moto E30 boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display in an LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a resolution of 720 x 1600 and comes with a 20:9+ aspect ratio.
Powering the device is the same UNISOC T700 chip, along with Mali-G52 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, with a dedicated microSDXC slot for further expansion. Other than that, it runs on the aforementioned Android 11 (Go Edition), a lightweight version of the regular Android 11.
Camera-wise, the E30 offers a set of triple-cameras around the back. It consists of 48MP primary (with f/1.8 aperture), 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors whereas you get an 8MP selfie shooter on the front.
The Moto E30 packs a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging tech, which the company claims can last for “more than 40 hours,” as reported by GSMArena. It’s now available in Slovakia and it sells out for 119,90 €.
