Cherry Mobile has announced the brand’s latest entry-level handset in the country. Meet — the Aqua X. An ultra-budget device which offers a Helio P23 chip, 3GB RAM, and 3,500mAh battery with 10W, priced at PHP 3,599.
A fairly-priced phone with basic features, for basic users.
The Aqua X mainly highlights its enormous 6.2-inch HD+ display in IPS LCD panel, and its not-so-small 3,500mAh battery with 10W fast charging tech. Aside from those, the entry-level device offers a Helio P23 chip, with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It also has a 13MP main camera and an 8MP selfie snapper in front.
Software-wise, it runs on stock Android 9, which is kinda disappointing considering that even low-end devices nowadays are being shipped with a higher version of Android. Let’s face it, Android 9 is already considered obsolete, they could’ve gone with a Go Edition of Android 10 instead if the handset can’t handle the full one though the lower the Android version, the faster it gets.
Albeit, the handset was actually unveiled back in late 2021 as reported by WalasTech but the device has just got its formal announcement.
The Cherry Mobile Aqua X retails for PHP 3,599 and is now available in Cherry Mobile stores, and kiosks nationwide!
