Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 announced, reveals two key visuals

Hit anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has just finished its second season and now it’s already ready for the third installment, which will be adapting the Swordsmith Village Arc!

Just right after the final episode of Season 2, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba posted an announcement on their official Twitter account to confirm that its upcoming season is in production.

The upcoming season will be adapting the Swordsmith Village Arc into a new series, featuring two new major characters, Muichiro Tokito (the Mist hashira) and Mitsuri Kanroji (the Love hashira) which will make their debut to the latest installment.

The announcement came along with a 39-second teaser trailer that can be watched below.

Obviously, Season 3’s Swordsmith Village Arc will follow the events of Season 2’s Entertainment District Arc with our main character, Tanjiro as he travels to the Swordsmith Village to get a new weapon, though an ancient weapon comes across in no one’s surprise. And then, there goes Tanjiro and his team’s encounter of The Twelve Kizuki and the adventure continues.

As for the release date, there wasn’t any confirmation yet, but we’ll keep you in touch so stay tuned for updates!
