Rockstar Games Confirms GTA 6 is under development

Rockstar Games has announced the status of Grand Theft Auto’s future installment and confirmed it’s on the way with the most recent tweet of the developer.

Many of you have been asking about a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series.

With every new project, our goal is always to significantly move beyond what we've previously delivered. We're pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the series is underway.

The tweet read, “Many of you have been asking about a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series. With every new project, our goal is always to significantly move beyond what we’ve previously delivered. We’re pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the series is underway.”

While GTA 6 hasn’t been officially revealed yet, there are possibilities that the game may launch sometime in 2024 or most likely, 2025, as reported by Inverse.
