Tecno has announced the arrival of the Pova 5G in the country. It is the company’s first 5G-enabled smartphone which highlights the Dimensity 900 5G chip, 50MP cam, and the 6,000mAh battery.
The Tecno Pova 5G is boasting a 6.95-inch FHD display with 120Hz refresh rate in IPS LCD panel. It has a centered-punch-hole cutout for the 12MP selfie snapper and is available in Aether Black colorways.
Around the back is the triple camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary, 2MP, and AI camera modules along with a 3D curved back design for a stylish look. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics.
Inside is the 6nm octa-core Dimensity 900 chip alongside a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. It has 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage with Memory Fusion tech for virtual RAM management. It runs on Android 11 with HiOS 7.6 skin.
Powering the Pova 5G is a large 6,000mAh battery with 18W flash charging tech. It also comes with a USB-C port, Face Unlock, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and more.
The Tecno Pova 5G retails for an introductory price of PHP 11,990 (original price is PHP 12,990). It comes with a FREE DITO SIM as an online exclusive and will open for pre-orders starting February 14 to 17.
