Honor X8 announced with 90Hz display and Snapdragon 680 chip

Honor earlier today has announced the brand’s latest smartphone in addition to the X-series, dubbed the Honor X8. A mid-range handset featuring the Snapdragon 680 4G chip, with a 90Hz display, and a 4,000mAh battery.

The Honor X8 brings a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole cut-out housing the 16MP front-facing camera. It comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and has a Full HD+ resolution comprised of 1080 x 2388 pixels.

Inside is the Snapdragon 680 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It runs on Android 11 with Magic UI 4.2 on top. Additionally, the RAM can be expanded through HONOR RAM Turbo with 2GB virtual RAM.

Furthermore, the Honor X8 comes equipped with a 64MP main camera on the back, alongside 5MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro camera modules.

The Honor X8 offers a 4,000mAh battery, with 22.5W fast charging tech. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and USB Type-C, and will be available in Titanium Silver, Midnight Black, and Ocean Blue colors.

The pricing details of Honor X8 is yet to be revealed. Albeit, it is speculated to arrive to several regions like the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
