iQOO Z6 5G unveiled with Snapdragon 695 chip, 50MP cam

Vivo sub-brand iQOO earlier today adds another mid-range contender to the Z-series portfolio. Meet — the Z6 5G, an affordable 5G handset that features the Snapdragon 695 chip, with 50MP camera and 120Hz display.

For starters, the iQOO Z6 5G features an enormous 6.58-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It has a dated dewdrop notch upfront for the 16MP selfie shooter, and comes with a fingerprint sensor on the side atop the power button.

Inside, powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It runs on the latest Android 12 with Funtouch OS 12 on top. There’s also a microSD slot for further expansion.

Moreover, the Z6 5G comes equipped with a set of three cameras on the back, consisting of a 50MP main shooter, and 2MP macro and depth modules.

Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging tech through the USB-C port. Other features include: a headphone jack, Extended RAM 2.0, 5-Layer Liquid Cooling System, and more.

The iQOO Z6 5G is available in Chromatic Blue and Dynamo Black colors and comes in three memory configurations: the 4GB RAM model sells out for INR 15,499 (~roughly PHP 10.6K), whereas the 6GB and 8GB RAM models retails for INR 16,999 (~roughly PHP 11.6K) and INR 17,999 (~roughly PHP 12.3K) respectively.
