Vivo Y01 launched with Helio P35 chip, runs on Android 11 Go Edition

Vivo has announced Y01, a new entry-level member to the Y-lineup. It offers a Helio P35 chip, runs on Android 11 Go Edition, and has a 5,000mAh battery.

The Vivo Y01 packs an enormous 6.51-inch HD+ display in LCD panel with a dewdrop notch for the 5MP selfie shooter. It has a plastic back, with a striped pattern and comes with a single 8MP primary camera alongside an LED flash, though you might get a 13MP one on some regions.

Inside, a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset powers the device, coupled with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. It comes with a dedicated microSD slot that utilizes storage expansion up to 1TB. It also runs on Android 11 (Go Edition) with FuntouchOS 11.1 on top.

Furthermore, the Vivo Y01 sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor in Kenya but both variants come with Face Access. Other features include FM Radio, USB OTG, and virtual gyroscope.

The Vivo Y01 comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging tech and is available in Sapphire Blue, and Elegant Black. The pricing and availability details are yet to be announced.
