Samsung Galaxy M53 5G goes official with Dimensity 900 chip, 108MP camera

Samsung today launched the Galaxy M53 5G in India. It is the company’s latest addition to the M-series that sports the Dimensity 900 chip, and 108MP quad-cam setup.

The Samsung Galaxy M53 sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Infinity-0 display in a Super AMOLED panel. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch hole cut-out sporting the 32MP front-facing camera.

The back of the phone comes equipped with a 108MP quad-camera setup alongside 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro camera modules. It has 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage inside and runs on OneUI 4.1 based on Android 12 out-of-the-box. Performance-wise, the M53 5G comes with a mid-range Dimensity 900 chipset, which uses TSMC’s 6nm processor and the Mali-G68 MP4 GPU.

In terms of power, the M53 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging tech. Other features include, Samsung Knox, 5G connectivity, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB-C port. The phone will be available in Blue, Green, and Brown variants.

As for the pricing, Samsung has not announced the retail price yet for the Galaxy M53 5G, but we’ll keep you updated so stay tuned!
