Motorola has announced the Moto G71s today in China, and it’s a mid-range budget handset with 5G connectivity. It features an AMOLED display, a 6nm chip, and a 5,000mAh battery.
New budget 5G device from Motorola
The Moto G71s packs an enormous 6.6-inch Full HD+ display in an AMOLED panel. It comes equipped with 120Hz refresh rate for a buttery smooth experience with 100-percent DCI-P3 coverage, NTSC color spaces, and DC dimming. Adding the cherry on top is the stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos.
Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset. It uses TSMC’s 6nm process, the chip is backed by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The phone is shipped with the latest Android 12-based MyUX 3.0 out-of-the-box and offers a massive 5,000mAh battery that charges at 33W.
The Moto G71s uses a triple-camera setup on the back that consists of a 50MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro camera modules. On the front is the 16MP selfie shooter housed in a punch-hole cut-out.
Pricing & Availability
As of the time of this writing, the Motorola Moto G71s only comes in 8GB + 128GB configuration (from what appears to be a China Mobile exclusive), and it costs CNY 1,699 (~roughly PHP 13.1K).
