Days after its silent listing on local e-commerce websites, the Hong Kong-based phone maker Infinix has finally made the HOT 12 Play official in the country, making it the cheapest smartphone with 90Hz refresh rate you can get for under PHP 6K!

For starters, the HOT 12 Play boasts an enormous 6.82-inch HD+ display in an IPS LCD panel. It comes equipped with a buttery-smooth 90Hz refresh rate for a fluid experience, and a 180Hz touch-sampling rate for gaming, plus a punch-hole camera on top housing the 8MP selfie snapper.
Around the back is a dual-camera setup consisting of 13MP main and AI sensors. Performance-wise, the HOT 12 Play opts in for a UNISOC T610 processor — that’s coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, with an additional 3GB of virtual RAM for multitasking purposes.
Keeping the lights on is a big 6,000mAh battery — you can pull an all-nighter with that amount of juice — that charges at 10W through USB-C. Other features include XOS 10 based on Android 12 and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Infinix HOT 12 Play comes in Horizon Blue, Daylight Green, Champagne Gold, and Racing Black colors and retails for PHP 5,999 (PHP 5,699 early-bird price) for the 4GB + 64GB memory configuration.
