Chinese phone maker Oppo recently has made the A97 official. It’s the brand’s latest mid-range handset powered by the Dimensity 810 chip.
The Oppo A97 offers an enormous 6.6-inch Full HD+ display in an LCD panel. It has a 90Hz refresh rate with a waterdrop notch housing the 12MP selfie snapper. The phone is equipped with a 48MP dual-camera setup alongside a 2MP depth sensor.
It uses the Dimensity 810 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The phone runs on Color OS 12 based on Android 12 and packs a 5,000mAh battery that charges at 33W through USB-C. Other key features include an audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and 5G connectivity.
Pricing & Availability
The Oppo A97 comes in two colors, ranging from Black to Blue and is now open for pre-orders in China. It carries a price tag of CNY 2,099 (~roughly PHP 17.5K) and will hit the Chinese market on July 15.
