Xbox Cloud Gaming to support keyboard and mouse soon

Klobrille (@klobrille) on Twitter recently shared a screenshot of what seems to be an updated version of the Xbox App on PCs, and apparently, the screenshot contained early looks of the app’s upcoming features on the “Cloud Gaming” category, such as the search bar, and a keyboard and mouse indicator.

This suggests that Microsoft is already looking for a way for PC and cloud gaming to collide, which finally crosses out your “I wish I had a console instead” worries. Albeit, it only applies to several titles.

You can take a look at the said tweet below.

A DualShockers report speculated that the indicator is actually a filter that displays a list of video games that can be played by a mouse and keyboard on the popular cloud gaming service.

The online publication also added that the mouse and keyboard indicator is apparently available in select regions.

For those unaware, Xbox Cloud Gaming is a part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription that gives you the ability to play console and PC games on the cloud. It’s actually a paid subscription, but recently, Microsoft has been adding free-to-play games to the cloud streaming service (such as Fortnite) without giving a cent.
