OnePlus today has finally kicked off the year with the release of its much-anticipated smartphone in China. Meet — the OnePlus 11, a new flagship contender featuring the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, with a brand-new camera design, and a 100W charging speed.
The return of the legacy — the alert-slider.
The removal of the alert slider on one of its recent devices, the OnePlus 10T, has caused a backlash among OnePlus fans, and it left the community dismayed. The phone maker then teased the OnePlus 11 with the alert slider months later, and now, the device is finally here to steal the spotlight — bringing fans back.
The new “flagship killer.”
The new OnePlus 11 is boasting an enormous 6.7-inch LTPO3 AMOLED display in 2K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. It has a punch-hole located on the upper-left corner of the screen, housing the 16MP selfie snapper.
On the back, the handset comes equipped with a revamped camera bump comprised of three camera units: 50MP Sony IMX890 primary, 48MP ultra-wide, and 32MP telephoto sensors alongside a Hasselblad branding imprint.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 11 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It has an “advanced RAM management system” backed by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Albeit, the lack of the microSD slot still continues.
Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery, accompanied by a 100W SUPERVOOC charging speed that is able to charge the device in half in 10 minutes while making the device full in 25 minutes.
Pricing & Availability
The OnePlus 11 comes in Green and Black colors and is available in three memory configurations: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB, priced at CNY 3,999 (~PHP 32.5K; US $580), CNY 4,399 (~PHP 35.7K; US $639), and CNY 4,899 (~PHP 39.8K; US $711) respectively.
