Tecno Pova 5 announced with Helio G99 chip and 6,000mAh battery
Chinese phone maker Tecno has recently announced the Pova 5. It is the brand's latest gaming-focused offering in the mid-range segment that mainly highlights its mecha-inspired back design along with the gaming-centric features that come with it. It has a big battery, a cooling system, and a relatively fast processor.

The Pova 5 sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch-sampling rate. It uses a punch-hole cut-out on the front for the 8MP front-facing camera while a 50MP main sensor is used on the back, accompanied by a depth sensor. In addition, it features a mecha-inspired appearance with futuristic metal patterns on the back, which the brand calls the "Turbo Mecha" design.
The Helio G99 chip is powering the device. The processor is backed by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage along with a 10,749mm2 heat dissipation area comprised of a vapor chamber and a graphene heat sink. It has a big 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast-charging tech and a 10W reverse-charging capability. Other notable features include a z-axis linear vibration motor and DTS-tuned dual speakers.

The availability and pricing of the Tecno Pova 5 will be revealed at a later date, though sources suggest that it will be offered first in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Moreover, the new phone from Tecno comes in three colors, consisting of Hurricane Blue, Amber Gold, and Mecha Black. It also comes in a limited-edition Free Fire bundle, with special themed accessories, and such.
