Google is finally wrapping up the leaks surfacing on the web as the tech giant gears up for its much-anticipated upcoming smartphone release with the Pixel 8 series in new teaser videos posted on the brand's social media channels.
The latest video from Google gives us a glimpse of what the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro will look like in their respective colors, essentially confirming the pill-shaped camera bump on the Pro model we've seen in early renders.
New Pixel devices this October.
Google began posting marketing campaigns and promotional materials for its Pixel 8 series earlier today. Previously, Google confirmed the release date for the Pixel 8 series on its latest #BestPhonesForever: Spa Day ad, which is slated to release on October 4.
Prior leaks suggest that the Pixel 8 series will get five major Android OS upgrades, a streamlined Tensor G3 processor, a flat screen for the Pro model, and an upgraded Samsung GN2 sensor for the main camera. Interested Pixel fans can tune in on the Made by Google YouTube channel to watch the official unveiling of new Google products happening on October 4. More details will be revealed at a later date.
