MediaTek sets release date for Dimensity 8300, debuts next week

Taiwanese chip maker MediaTek announced the release date of its upcoming chipset earlier today in a blog post on Weibo. The Dimensity 8300, which is expected to be a more affordable counterpart of its flagship lineup, kicks off next week. According to the post, the new chipset will be released on November 21 at 3 PM Beijing time via a live stream on the Chinese platform (Via GSMArena).

No details have been revealed, but rumors exist that the upcoming chipset is expected to use a 1+3+4 core architecture with ARMv9 cores.
