realme GT5 Pro with vegan leather, flagship processor debuts in China

realme has recently launched its latest flagship offering in China and it is named among one of the first smartphones to ship with the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor — the realme GT5 Pro. Introduced as the newest member of the GT family, the new smartphone from the Chinese phone maker most notably highlights its vegan leather material on the back.

The realme GT5 Pro is built around a 6.78-inch display in an AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It has a resolution of 2780 x 1264 and supports a touch sampling rate of 2,160Hz, as well as a 4,500-nit peak brightness. The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and offers a relatively large 5,400mAh battery inside that charges at 100W.

Camera-wise, the GT5 Pro comes equipped with a set of three cameras on the back. Housed in a circular camera bump, the main camera packs a 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor, which is joined by 50MP and 8MP sensors for telephoto and ultra-wide lenses. There's also a 32MP selfie snapper on the front.
