vivo has announced the arrival of its latest entry-level offering in the Philippines—the vivo Y27s. It is the newest addition to the Y family in the country. Priced at PHP 9,999 (~roughly US $180), the new smartphone from the Chinese phone maker features a 6nm chipset, 256GB of storage, and 44W charging.

The vivo Y27s is built around a 6.64-inch display in an IPS LCD panel. It has a Full HD+ resolution with support for a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cut-out for the 8MP camera. Around the back is a dual-camera setup comprised of 50MP main and 2MP depth sensors. Powering the entry-level handset is the Snapdragon 680 chip, a 6nm processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The phone has a 5,000mAh battery inside that charges at 44W and runs on Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 out-of-the-box. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP54 rating, face unlock, and a microSD slot. Color options range from Burgundy Black to Garden Green.
