itel has been gearing up for its anticipated entry-level release, and now it's here — the itel A50. Initially teased on the brand's social media pages, the phone has now officially debuted in the country with an introductory price of PHP 3,199 (~roughly US $55).

The itel A50 features entry-level essentials with an iPhone-esque look. It packs an enormous 6.6-inch display in HD+ resolution and has a waterdrop notch on the front featuring a 5MP front sensor. It has an 8MP main camera setup at the back, a UNISOC Tiger T603 chipset inside coupled with 3GB RAM (with additional 5GB virtual RAM), 64GB ROM, and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast-charging tech. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics and runs on Android 14 with Dynamic Bar features.
The itel A50 is available in four colors: Misty Black, Lime Green, Shimmer Gold, and Cyan Blue and retails for PHP 4,999 (~roughly US $86). The phone can be bought for a promo price of PHP 3,199 (~roughly US $55) and is now available for pre-order on its e-commerce pages, including Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok.
