South Korean tech brand Samsung has recently announced its newest addition to the M series in India — the Galaxy M05. It is the brand's latest entry-level handset which highlights the 50MP dual-camera setup and a 5,000mAh battery, with a reasonable price tag of INR 7,999 (~roughly US $97; PHP 5.5K).
The new phone from Samsung has a 6.7-inch display with a dewdrop notch in HD+ resolution. It has a dual-camera setup located at the rear consisting of a 50MP wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there's an 8MP camera for selfies.
Inside the phone is a Helio G85 chipset in a 4GB + 64GB memory configuration. It has a microSD slot for up to 1TB and has the aforementioned 5,000mAh battery that charges at 25W. And, it has a headphone jack. The Galaxy M05 seemingly only has one Mint Green color according to a press release announcing the phone's launch. Open sales have already started on Amazon, Samsung.com, and offline and online retail stores in India.
