HONOR foldable Magic V5 showcased in preview event, arrives September 5

MANILA, Philippines — Consumer technology brand HONOR has showcased the brand's incoming flagship foldable Magic V5 at an exclusive preview event at Baked Studios, Makati, on Thursday, August 28, 2025. 

A breakthrough in foldable design, performance, and user experience, the HONOR Magic V5 was put to several tests, in which the foldable succeeded in dealing with such pressures, including its capability to lift a 104-kilogram sofa, certified by Guinness World Records.

A certificate was also shown beside the exhibit.

Meanwhile, the Magic V5 was also shown to lift a 30-pound barbell on a separate booth.

There were also other instances at the event where the foldable was able to demonstrate its capabilities, including the ability to withstand water in a mini aquarium and more.

Part of the preview event included the 13.3-inch HONOR MagicPad 3 — which is said to be the first flagship HONOR tablet in the country — also arriving on September 5.
