Samsung announces Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Tab S11 series with thin design, powerful hardware

MANILA, Philippines — Samsung has launched its latest smartphones and tablets in the Philippines, announcing the brand's new roster of products, dedicated to expanding the Galaxy AI ecosystem on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

The event unveiled the Galaxy S25 FE and the Galaxy Tab S11 series, which come with content-aware capabilities, AI-enhanced tools, and upgraded Samsung DeX for the latter.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

The Galaxy S25 FE is the budget-friendly counterpart of the base Galaxy S25 series launched last January. It has a 6.7-inch display in an AMOLED panel, backed by Gorilla Glass Victus for the front and back material, and an IP68 rating.

It has a 12MP selfie camera, joined by a triple-camera setup located at the rear: 50MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, and 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom.

Underneath the Galaxy S25 FE is an Exynos 2400 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM and with several storage options: 128GB, 128GB, or 512GB. It has a 4,900mAh battery that charges at 45W through USB-C, and comes with a seven-year guaranteed software support.

Pricing information for the Galaxy S25 FE is as follows:

  • 8GB + 128GB: PHP 39,990 (online exclusive)
  • 8GB + 256GB: PHP 44,990
  • 8GB + 512GB: PHP 53,990

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S11 series, consisting of the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra, is the latest flagship tablet lineup from the brand.

The Tab S11 Ultra (14.6-inch) flaunts a larger display with thin material, while the base Tab S11 (11-inch) aims for a more compact approach. The two tablets share the latest Galaxy AI features, with the redesigned S Pen and the aforementioned upgraded Samsung DeX.

The new Samsung DeX features an extended mode that allows the tablet to access the DeX across separate screens. It also gives users the ability to customize desktop setups with up to four workspaces.

Inside the Tab S11 series is a 3nm Dimensity 9400+ processor, with separate memory configurations for each model (12GB RAM, 256GB or 512GB storage), alongside an 11,600mAh battery for the Tab S11 Ultra and an 8,400mAh battery for the base Tab S11. Both tablets charge at 45W.

The Galaxy S25 FE will hit shelves on September 19. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S11 series will be released at a later date, arriving on September 26.
