OxygenOS 16 teased for October 2025 release, eligible devices listed

MANILA, Philippines — Oxygen OS 16, the long-awaited software update for OnePlus devices, was teased in the first week of October 2025. The teaser was posted on the brand's official X handle, indicating a release date for the new system version, which was set on October 16, 2025.
Although the smartphone maker has not yet revealed which devices will be getting the update, Andy UK, a OnePlus enthusiast on the brand's community website, has shared a rundown of eligible devices based on the available information online from OnePlus.
According to the community post, the following OnePlus devices are eligible for the OxygenOS 16 (Android 16) update:
Number series
- OnePlus 15
- OnePlus 13s
- OnePlus 13R
- OnePlus 13
- OnePlus Open
- OnePlus 12R
- OnePlus 12
- OnePlus 11R
- OnePlus 11
Nord series
- OnePlus Nord 5
- OnePlus Nord 4
- OnePlus Nord 3
- OnePlus Nord CE5
- OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite
- OnePlus Nord CE4
Pad series
- OnePlus Pad 3
- OnePlus Pad 2
- OnePlus Pad
In addition, it was also said that the OnePlus Pad Lite, or the N30 SE, may or may not get the update, meaning that there is no confirmed information yet for the two devices as of now.
The post author also noted that the rollout may take place after the October 16 release date, which may also depend on region and device model, although newer devices are expected to receive the update first.
